At Devon Partnership NHS Trust we are committed to involving people in every aspect of our work. How the Trust aims to achieve this is explained in our Strategy for informing and involving people and an associated informing and involving workplan.
Involvement opportunities
There are many ways people can get involved and also access information to help influence their own care and treatment:
- Become one of our members; share your views and experiences and make a difference to your services
- Get involved with independently run organisations or groups:
Do you use mental health services in the Bay?
Or do you support someone who uses services such as a relative or partner?
Do you want to share your views and ideas to help improve local services?
The Torbay Mental Health Involvement Service offers:
- Lots of clear and helpful information
- A regular newsletter
- A chance to air your views with managers
- Links into self-help and support groups
- Support and training
- Various ways to get involved and make your ideas and views heard.
