Minister heaps praise on MINDFUL EMPLOYER

Around 200 delegates attended the conference to celebrate ten years of the Trust's MINDFUL EMPLOYER initiative in Exeter last week.

Following opening remarks by Julie Dent (Chair) and Melanie Walker (Chief Executive), Dame Carol Black talked about a wide range of issues related to health in the workplace. She was followed by Norman Lamb MP, Minister of State for Care and Support and keynote speaker at the event. Mr Lamb talked passionately about the inequalities that currently exist between physical health and mental health and said it was a situation that must be addressed, and quickly. He heaped praise on the MINDFUL EMPLOYER initiative and what it has achieved in the last decade.

Would you recommend us to your family and friends?

From October 2014 everyone who experiences care at Devon Partnership NHS Trust will be offered the opportunity to provide feedback about their experience through the Friends and Family test.

The test comprises a simple question:

"How likely are you to recommend our service to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?"

Feedback is important to us and we will use the results, alongside other sources of feedback, to understand, and build on what is working well and to identify those areas in need of improvement.

Find out about all the different ways you can take the test here.

If you have any queries or concerns please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).
